Shaun & Söndi Carlaw - Hungary
Shaun was raised in a Christian home and came to faith in Christ at an early age. Söndi was introduced to Christ in her first year of college in Sárospatak when she joined a Christian choir. Shaun’s experience in Hungary began in 1991 when he went to teach English in the city of Békéscsaba. He later returned in June 1998 to serve full-time in Budapest. Shaun met Söndi at Kelenföld Evangelical Church and they were married in Budapest in July 2002. God has blessed them with three sons.
Shaun and Söndi are living in Budapest area. Shaun uses English teaching as a tool holding outreach English clubs, Bible studies and summer camps as a means to reach the community and grow the church. Söndi volunteers with a Roma mission in outreaches and music ministry in Budapest and in different places throughout Hungary.
