Ruth Garcia

Hi, my name is Ruth! I am currently about to finish my first year of college at UTD where I am majoring in political science with the hopes of becoming an attorney in the future. I have attended Templo Betania my whole life and have been serving in the children’s ministry (TBKIDZ) since I was like 9. My biggest prayer has been that I be the hands and the feet of Jesus. My first mission trip was last year and ever since I have had this strong desire to pursue missions and to lead people to Jesus.

This June I have the opportunity to go to Colombia on a mission trip with an amazing team to serve children at a summer camp! I am super excited for what the Lord will do there!

I would really appreciate it if you could pray for the team as we prepare and go to Colombia. Pray that the Lord uses each of us in a special way and that the children may get to know Jesus and experience His love through our service. Second, I still need to fundraise $1,440.
