We were both born and raised in Christian families and have lived since childhood as Christians. We have been blessed by God in our lives for many years. He has given us loving families to be a part of, and we have raised five children and are blessed with seventeen grandchildren.
Our work with cruise ships for more than thirty-five years has truly opened our eyes to the great need for the sharing of God's love among those who live and work on board these amazing floating communities. We have, indeed, had numerous opportunities to speak of our faith, and to share with others, both guests and team members, the wonderful message of salvation in Jesus Christ.
Our missional activities take us all over the world during our ship assignments where we have the privilege to conduct Worship Services and Bible Studies for both guests and team members. We also spend much time in the ports of the southern USA to visit with the team members of cruise ships in port for the day.
We are commissioned as Chaplains with the International Seafarers Ministry, in partnership with Action International Ministries.
